Campaspe Downs

Campaspe Downs was formerly owned by PGL Adventure Camps, with The Great Aussie Bush Camp acquiring it in late 2025. It’s the same great experience, just with a new name.

Just over an hour from Melbourne, Campaspe Downs is set within 160 acres of stunning bushland in the heart of the Macedon Ranges. Close to Kyneton and Hanging Rock, expansive open spaces and a peaceful lake set the scene for adventure, connection and outdoor discovery.
Adventure is always in the air at Campaspe Downs, from water-sport thrills on the lake to treetop triumphs that lift bravery sky-high. If you hear cheering across camp, chances are it’s our four-person flying fox launching another epic flight over the water.
With everything centred around the lake, groups can move easily from action to downtime. Refuel in our beautiful outdoor dining space with water views, then jump straight back into the excitement. Campaspe Downs is a place where students grow braver, stronger and more connected, creating memories that last long after camp is over.

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
Every camp is tailored to support your group’s goals, whether that be personal growth, resilience, independence or team development. Our programs are built around hands-on challenges that encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, work together and celebrate their achievements.
The Leap of Faith pushes brave hearts to new heights, the Giant Swing sends friends soaring together and rock climbing rewards determination one hold at a time. On the ground, Aeroball pumps up the competition with a wild mix of trampolining, basketball and volleyball, and the Sensory Trail challenges teamwork like nothing else.
Every adventure is active, engaging and designed to build confidence, leadership and strong connections. With canoeing, initiatives and bushcraft rounding out the experience, there is something here for every student to shine.
